Woodhouse Ward is home to many people who care deeply about protecting local services, improving public spaces, supporting their neighbours and shaping the future of the area.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This section highlights local campaigns, volunteering opportunities, community groups and ways to get involved in improving the ward and Barnet more broadly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Residents interested in helping organise around local issues are encouraged to get in touch.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Our North Finchley<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Our North Finchley is a resident-led grassroots campaign formed to challenge large-scale over-development in North Finchley. Locals formed the group to challenge Regal\/Arada and the Council and to push for community-focused regeneration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The campaign has held pubic meetings, bringing together residents, community stake-holders and local politicians, run hugely successful petitions and continues to build momentum locally.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Woodhouse Clean-up<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Across Woodhouse and the wider Finchley area, local residents are already doing brilliant work to keep our streets, parks and green spaces clean through informal litter picks and community clean-ups.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If you are already involved in litter picking locally, or would like to get involved, please join our Woodhouse Clean-up WhatsApp group<\/a>.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

I want to help to connect and co-ordinate existing local litter-picking groups, residents interested in organising street clean-ups, schools and youth groups, parks and friends groups and local businesses who may wish to support community clean-up efforts.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Woodhouse Ward Panel<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The Woodhouse Ward Panel is a community group that works with the local Metropolitan Police Safer Neighbourhoods Team (SNT) to identify and address local policing and safety priorities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Panel helps tackle neighbourhood crimes, anti-social behaviour (ASB), and other community concerns.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
